PlayStation's Experience website currently lets you try and redeem access to an unannounced Gran Turismo 7 PS5 beta.

It's likely the page - first spotted by GTPlanet - was not yet intended to go public.

Eurogamer has verified the process of receiving a beta key works, though the code we received - 1234-5678-9012 - appears to be a placeholder.

If you want to try it yourself, head over to the Experience PlayStation website, and choose "Related Campaigns" and "Italia Quest", then watch 10 seconds of the embedded GT7 trailer.

PlayStation is yet to detail its plans for a Gran Turismo 7 beta, but its apparent existence should not come as too much of a surprise. GT Sport also got a beta before its release back on PS4.

So, when could we see a GT7 beta for real? Well, that all depends when GT7 actually arrives. Back in February, Sony set expectations by pushing GT7 back to a vague 2022 launch window.

At the time, PlayStation boss Jim Ryan said the pandemic had impacted GT7's development - meaning it would miss its original 2021 release target.

We've asked PlayStation for more.
